SMK USJ 8 - My school!! Yay^^
It was the day! The day is today! Road Run! The Kementerian Pelajaran (Ministries of Education), I supposed, changed the name "Merentas Desa(Cross Country)" into "Road Run" this year because, we don't cross country, we just run a big big round at the area of my school!
So I woke up at 6.oo a.m. I was excited so I woke up so early. I wasn't excited of running, but saving people because I'm a member of the Red Cresent Society. I put on my gear, got everything ready. I ate 2 bars of healthy bar and a cup of Horlicks, enough to stand under the hot sun without fainting..
I reached school at about 7.oo a.m. I saw some of my friends were there already. So we decided to go gather at our place. Then the teacher fetched us to out checkpoints. Our exciting day is starting soon!
We reached our checkpoint at around 7.05a.m. We got ready and took some checkpoint cards. I waited and waited.. Nobody came. So boring.. So I decided to take out my cell phone and SMS my friend. At 8.ooa.m., only the boys started running! Within 5 minutes, the first boy came! Yay, got work to do at last!! Hmph, but since I was standing behind, nobody took my cards :(
When everybody has passed, time to go back school and help out!
Once I reached school, there were a lot of runners already! They were FAST!
Ok, um.. Then I didn't have nothing to do, which is go around the school and find for mangsa(prey, lol) with my friend. And this is the exciting part!!
I was walking with my friend towards the gate in case someone reached and fainted right just in front. Lol..
Ok, get right back where I was.. So I was walking and talking to my friend.. Then I was nearly the gate and my Headmaster was like :"PBSM PBSM(name for my Red Cresent Society in Malaysia)!!!" So I quickly took the way to where the mangsa was, and my other friend ran back to the PBSM Pangkalan(gathered place) and shouted "Stretcher!! Stretcher!!". I wasn't panicked, and I don't know why. There were students and teacher around the mangsa and she is a girl. Her situation was serious! She has fainted! And the teacher is so stupid.. She didn't know what to do xD
So I went to the mangsa, and shooed all people gathering around her (am I evil or what?) and the teacher was like "what to do?!?!"... I looked at her like this -> O_o and I said "lift her legs higher!!!" and the teacher is to be told what to do (yay! I told the teacher what to do!!), and within few seconds (everything I mentioned is like few seconds only. but wonder why I type like until so long...) the stretcher came!! Woo hoo!
My friends quickly shooed everybody even further than I shooed them away! Not fair.. >=P Gah, who cares? So all my friends took their position around the girl and "1, 2, up!" and lifted her, and put her down at the stretcher. Then again, 4 of my friends took places around the stretcher (they were so pro! Hope I did take the picture, but who'll waste time posing for me when someone's in trouble?) and "1, 2, up!" and as quick as lightning, they reached to the pangkalan! Whoa, so fast =P The others, besides me and my friend who was checking out, took care of the girl, and me with my friend went on and find more people to save!
We found a lot of people, almost countless, and of course I lost count (aww man, should have counted properly!!).. There were few: crams, sprains, dizzyness and lots more.. It was fun!
It was a great experience for me! I hope everybody will stay healthy! And great news, I'm going to join this again for the Sports Day! I'm sure I will post up again^^
