Hot, hot, hot.

The weather is so hot right now. Even just sitting down and doing nothing, my sweat keeps leaving my body. My mom says this is the Chinese New Year weather, super hot, almost sauna-ish. The sun literally burns your skin with just a little exposure.

At the end of the day, after countless cooling baths, you will just hope that it rains (or snows, but Malaysia doesn't snow, so I'm not that hopeful anymore) so that you won't need to end your day sleeping in your bed with a sweaty and sticky body.

But that is impossible. It rained last night, but it wasn't a pour, it was a dash of giant tablespoon of rainwater by the rain god and that's it. I don't think the plants even get hydrated or cooled down like that. Mehhhh

In a related story to the title, besides the weather being hot, I like my men hot.

Mukai Osamu is the hottest husband I'll ever have. Haha! And in tonight's Arashi ni Shiyagare episode, he will be the hot aniki guest teaching Arashi stuffs. Yes, my hubby is going to teach my secret lover, crush, elder brother, role model and my someone-to-fight-with-when-bored friend. This is one of the highlights of my fangirling life.

First when he co-starred with Jun in Bambino!, I was happy already.
Then his face was shown in an episode of Himitsu no Arashi-chan VIP Room with Aragaki Yui (co-star in Hanamizuki), I was also happy already.
Then he appeared in VS Arashi as the Paradise Kiss Team versus my Arashi boys, I was delighted, to the max.
Then he appeared in Himitsu no Arashi-chan with his co-stars in his drama Summer Rescue, against MatsuJun, my crush, in a Mannequin battle, I couldn't contain all the greatness in one scene.

Now, he is going to be one-on-five with the Arashi members.

I mean, look at this. I cannot with these two.
preview of tonight's episode
My hubby and my lover, in one scene. Too much for me to handle.

I just, can't wait...
And it's so hot right now.

ninja's back

I should have posted right after STPM ended, with something like "FREEDOM!!!!" along the lines...

But I've done those celebratory posts during PMR.
I've done the countdown during PMR.
I've done the to-do-list-after-this-shit during PMR (wait, after).

Somehow, growing up made me less ambitious. I wanted to be a doctor, a tailor... There's one more I wanted to be, but I just can't remember... Oh wait, piano teacher! But now, everything seems to be like an unreachable dream.

STPM ended! I totally flunk my own hardwork (it wasn't really hardwork). After PMR, seems like my fighting spirit went down. Proof that I got only 8As in SPM was a lesson, but I didn't learn. I preferred living in my short term enjoyment.

All my friends are working already, I'm the only one still at home; sitting in front of the laptop every single day, watching dramas after dramas, variety shows after variety shows. I can't find my motivation.

They say, fall in love and get a boyfriend, you'll get motivation from that.
I shall just wait for the right time.

Oh, and all those missing pictures from my blog... I have no idea why did Facebook decided to change their photo links... Sorry that you'll have to see those white boxes; ain't motivated enough fo that.

If any of you want to exchange Chinese New Year cards with me, comment your address here! haha, I'll send you one and I'll attach my address too. *hopeful* Don't worry, comments are moderated so I'll be the only one who sees it :)

Good night and good day.

Ninja escapes; Miki.

AFA:MY Day 2 [Concert Part]

Anime Festival Asia: Malaysia 2012, Day 2 report (2 part) Part 2 of 2
(Part 1 read here)

AFA MY 2012 I Love Anisong! Super Anisong Genki LIVE!!! (Concert Report)

After reaching in there, I stormed excitedly to my seat, but still quite on the normal level of mood. My seat was really to the right, just 3 spaces before the end. But it's still good, being at the most front row! Bad side is that the speaker was directly in front of me, so after the concert, my ears were ringing for 2 days. I could feel my whole body vibrating to the music as well. The concert started off at about 7.30pm.

RADE (or RAE or REy, if anyone knows, please tell me)
When the team set up the drums, I thought to myself... Oh don't let it be FLOW the first to perform! Then how can I get high at the end? because there weren't other bands besides them already. However, a local band appeared! They weren't bad, quite good in fact, but I think the vocalist syok-sendiri too much and I find him weird. Haha~ They performed a total of 3 songs, one being their original song. Some people in the crowd were already high! Malaysians, hot-blooded passionate people yaw! I just sat down and waved my glowstick.

They finished their performance and that's when the real deal came in. Sea☆A had definitely be the next as the crew started removing the instruments.

Sea☆A
The girls appeared and their voice were so high pitched! My ears were violated, heh. I don't know their songs, but I remember the first song was related to Arashi (Arashi no Yoru ni) and they sung an English version of their debut song (I think, couldn't quite remember) Dream Shooter. Don't remember if they sung other songs. However, their performances were nice to watch!

There was a crazy hardcore fan 2 rows behind me! During the whole performance, he cheered the loudest and the most hardcore. I kept glancing behind to find the people behind me also giving him glances and awkward smiles. I admire this person, really!

The girls also brought the crowd an announcement, namely Sea☆A is looking for new members! So, talented singers and dancers alike, if you're interested, please find out yourself how to audition for this~

The girls finished and went backstage.

KOTOKO
I knew I had heard of her before. I thought she was the one who sung the ajinomoto song (read: Hora, ashimoto wo mite goran~ heh) but it was Kiroro who sung Mirai E. I spent time to time thinking, where did I hear of KOTOKO before? But I let it slipped away as I was busy anticipating FLOW for the past few weeks.

So after Sea☆A finished and went in, the crowd was cheering for KOTOKO. When she came out, yaw, I was overwhelmed by the response. That time, I swore to myself I must quickly remember where did I hear of her before! And here is her setlist posted on her Twitter.

M1 Face of Fact
M2 碧羅の天に誘えど
M3 Shooting Star
M4 ハヤテのごとく
M5 being
M6 Light My Fire
M7 →unfinished→
M8 Re-sublimity
I don't listen to her songs, so most of the time, besides leaning on the barrier in front of me and waving the glowstick to the rhythm, was just enjoying the music (not high). During her MC, she spoke a lot in English and hahaha sorry, I really couldn't understand Engrish (told Joey I would gladly prefer if she spoke in Japanese!). She was so cute oh gosh. She went to Times Square and bought accessories *flashes them at us* and she was so excited about our monorail! Then she was talking about this kuih which is ball-shaped with melted-sugar inside and rolled inside coconut shreds. I myself isn't that sure about the name of it, and she was trying really hard to describe it. The crowd was really listening attentively to her and then she said, "Ahhh, nanda tte, coconut mochi?" and we all roared in laughter. Hahahaha, the best name invention by her evar! After that, she said she would continue off to the next song...

"Do you all know the anime... Onegai Teacher?"

Oh god, you do not know how much I screamed after that. OHMAIGOSH OHMAIGOSH IT'S THAT!!! SHOOTING STAAAAAR! Now I remembered where I heard of her! I was like hardcore super like that anime with that theme song, and I was going to hear it live *sobbing uncontrollably*. The crowd went insane too, when she mentioned that. Honestly speaking, I never thought I would've the chance to listen to it live! She said this song was 10 years ago and I felt really old hahaha (although I started watching anime only 5 years ago) and then she started singing, live. Fangirl max!

So near the end of her session, the SP Cats' Tasha and Miyuko entered the concert stage and was right in front of me. Yes, directly in front, if I reached out I could have touched them heh. They already removed their cosplay costumes and were in "incognito" mode, but not much. Honestly speaking, they both distracted me a lot from KOTOKO because I was trying to figure out what language the crew guy was speaking to them.

When KOTOKO's session ended, fanboys and fangirls alike rushed in front, totally invading my space as they crowded around them to ask for pictures. I guess, they received too much overwhelming response, they went backstage as to not disrupt my view (why thank you very much!). KOTOKO's session ended at about 9.20pm. The stage went dark.

FLOW
Crew came and set up the drums, guitar and bass. Super high that time, but I was quite tired already, so I just sat down and silently wait for FLOW. Couldn't tweet because my phone was on low battery at that time already. So guys and girls, don't get an iPhone, it won't even last a day! While waiting, Joey randomly asked if they would start with GO!! and I kept praying to the stage, "noh, please let them end with GO!! instead!".

From time-to-time, the crowd (us) would start chanting, "FLOW! FLOW! FLOW!" and stopped. And then we started cheering again. Hahaha, I know, we were eager yaw!

About 10 minutes later, a long hair guy came out and strummed on the guitars. Crowd cheers. I cheered. I was screaming, "TAKE? TAKE-SAN?! HONTOUUU?!" but I don't remember TAKE's hair being that long. Joey asked me, besides TAKE, who else had long hair? "IWASAKI-SAN?! IWASAKI-SAN ANATA DESUKAAAA?!" Okay, then I started being really high and complained to Joey on how I don't know IWASAKI plays the guitar. Maybe it was a staff/manager/sound check crew, or maybe it was really IWASAKI hurhur.

Then the "IWASAKI-look-alike" played the bass. More cheers from the crowd. Then Joey said, but it's impossible if the members let other people do sound check for them. I don't know! But I think those instruments weren't theirs and were bought here, or something like that, at least that's what I read from GOTO-chan's Twitter.

Then he proceeded to the drums. MORE CHEERS. Then there was another person on stage too, they both did sound check for the mics.

Then we waited some more. It was the longest wait ever! "Ahaha, did FLOW like go missing? There's drama backstage, searching for FLOW. 'FLOW-SAMA DOKO DESUKA?! DAREKA MITETAN DESUKA?!!' the manager would be looking for them." I told Joey hahaha, sorry, I was super bored. The last time I checked my watch, it was 9.40pm and I casually said, "oh, they are 20 minutes late!".

Suddenly... KANAME☆ appeared. WAO, fangirls scream from the VIP section! I just sat down and glanced at him and turned my head back to the stage. I thought he had went back to the backstage as the flails had died down. And then I heard even more flails from the VIP section behind, near the free standing area. HAHAHA, guess what I did?

I cheered like a mad woman because I thought they were cheering for FLOW. "FLOOOOOW!!! OMG FLOOOOOOW! WHERE IS FLOOOOOOOOW! WHY ARE THEY CHEERING!!!!!!" and then I heard "KANAMEEEEE!" LOL. That was quite embarrassing. I sat back down (was nearly to jumping up) and waited some more.

THEN THEY APPEARED. IN BLACK AND WHITE. KOHSHI AND KEIGO WERE FIRST. *screams* The flails and cheers were endless. ENDLESS I TELL YOU. And I have never screamed so much!

During the whole concert, I jumped endlessly, sung to the top of my lungs (I wonder if any cameraman caught me on tape, I have a very awkward screaming+singing face) and waved my glowstick like the world's going to end the next day. Besides enjoying the concert, most of the time, I was having biology in my head; on how I'm jumping (using leg muscles), swinging the glowstick (using arm muscles) and screaming+singing (using lungs' capacity). I was tired really fast since I have bad stamina. Haha. (Please allow me to bang a wall now.)

There was one song, I forgot which, they started off differently, which was quite a silent/ballad kind and I was too high at that moment, I shouted at Joey, "WHAT SONG IS THIS AH?" and she told me, "Everyone can hear you lah!" hahaha, oops. There was another song (which I really didn't hear before, orz, I was so worried at that time!) but this time I spoke softly to her instead. Haha, which turns out both of us do not know the title of that song either~

After the 3rd song or so, came the MC session. KEIGO did most of the talking, as usual. He spoke in Japanese, said that us Malaysians were sugoi, able to speak 3 languages; English, Malay and Mandarin! Then he started introducing the band in these 3 languages as well.

I don't remember what he said, but for all, it was all the same content, just introducing FLOW, first time in Malaysia, etc. I'll just write down my reactions...

English: *CHEERS*
Malay: *CHEERS EVEN MORE*
Mandarin: *laughs endlessly* I know Japanese have problem pronouncing "_i" but I can't help to laugh everytime they say it (like Arashi did ohoho). "嗨大家好!我們是來自日本的FLOW!" The "ri ben" made me snort so much hehehehe. Oh KEIGO, why so cute~

After saying all these (with cheers and cheers from the crowd after finishing it), KEIGO faced the stage and wiped imaginary sweat from his forehead. Haha, otsukaresama KEIGO-san! Then he recapped and said we are awesome, and he continued speaking in Japanese, asking us whether we could understand it as well. WE CHEERED (I mean, of course we do understand heh) and he was super awed. MULTILINGUAL CULTURE YO.

After that, it was KOHSHI's turn to speak and I thought he'd talk about the similar stuffs like KEIGO did to make us high (sorry, I've never been to a Jrock concert, so I thought it'll be like Arashi concerts heh) but what KOHSHI spoke that night, that very night... Was super powerful and inspiring. He spoke in full, proper English and his pronunciation was very good for a Japanese.

KOHSHI spoke about the earthquake and tsunami that happened a year ago. He said that he felt helpless because all he had was music and music couldn't do anything. Then, someone from the crowd (actually the guy was just few seats away from me) shouted, "Music brings us all together!" and a few of us front row-ers cheered. I don't know if KOHSHI heard, but he just continued on (hahahah, got ignored aaawwww), saying that later he realised that music gives power, music gives hope. Honestly speaking, I didn't know where this would lead to, so I kinda got so absorbed into his English when suddenly...

They performed 1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou. CHEERED LIKE MAD.

I forgot, after how many songs later, KEIGO said he would introduce the members as this was their first time in Malaysia! First off, drums no IWASAKI! And he did a short solo ("IWASAKI-SAN KAKKOII~~~!" I kept screaming heheh). Next off, bass no GOT'S! Also, he did a short solo ("GOTO-CHAN!!!! GOTO-CHAN DAISUKIII!!!!" hhahahaha omg, I love him so much hehehe). Then, guitar no TAKE! He did a super short line, and then put down his guitar. I was like "EEEH TAKE-SAN! MOTTO GUITAR YO! NANDE!!!!" because I super like his guitar, actually. The stage darkened, he took up something and it turned out to be a spectacles with LED. HAHAHA WE CHEERED LIKE MAD.

Then he stood on top of the stand and did an action of looking faraway. We cheered. He looked right, the right side (my side!) cheered. He looked left, the left side cheered. Then he went and took a mic and said some really impossible things.

TAKE: Mi goreng!

A-re? A-re??? Okay, we were stuck there for a while, I mean, WHY WOULD YOU SUDDENLY TALK ABOUT MI GORENG (fried noodles)??? So he repeated until we answered him back hahahaha.

TAKE: Mi goreng!
Crowd: MI GORENG!!!
TAKE: Petronas Twin Tower!
Crowd: PETRONAS TWIN TOWER! *laughing away*
TAKE: Tokyo Tower!
Crowd: TOKYO TOWER!!! (can see KOHSHI laughing behind there hahahaha)
TAKE: Sky Tree!
Crowd: SKY TREE!
TAKE: Sky Tree kaigyou omedetou!
Crowd: SKY TREE KAIGYOU OMEDETOU!!! (SHAMELESS JAPAN PROMO HEH)
TAKE: Oh my god, Malaysia... SHALL WE DANCE?!

Okay, I enjoyed too much at this moment, he's like super awesome. Hohoho! We cheered and he started dancing weird dance moves! We moved left, right, practically following him dancing! And then he said, "AKU CINTA KAMU!!" OMG. I PUN CINTA KAT YOU!!! Endless cheers. Although I would prefer that he played more of his guitar, but he has a lot of solo lines during songs so niemind! His crowd control was a fresher thing!

Then KEIGO came back on, introduced KOHSHI! And KOHSHI took his turn, and introduced KEIGO! And back to the performances!

Honestly speaking, I know KOHSHI looks cool with his sunglasses on, but I cannot make eye contact with him because I can't find his eyes! During somewhere in the performances, he waved at my side *silently hoping he was waving at me* but I don't know if it was me because the girl beside me and I started screaming at him HAHAHAHA. It's me lah, I'm so cute. Heh. Sadly, KEIGO did come to my side once, but he didn't really see us at the very right side. DISAPPOINT.

TAKE was most of the time at our side because KEIGO took the most left stand, KOHSHI the middle one and TAKE the most right stand. I KNOW, I REALLY KNOW, that at one point of time, TAKE did see me hahaha, but of course his hands were busy with the guitar so he cannot wave back (I also kept screaming "pi-su- shite" which means "do the peace sign" but it's a rock concert, might be a little bit inappropriate! And probably no one heard me because the music was so loud!). Also, somewhere near the middle end, TAKE started being goofy to the cameraman at the right side, so I just gave the "the crap you doing?" look and pointed at him. I am quite sure he saw me doing that, he laughed, shrugged his shoulders and winked at me.

FANGIRL MAX OMG. I CAN REPLAY THAT WINK FOREBAAAA!! It's nice sitting at the front row.

At some point, also near end or somewhere I forgot, KEIGO acknowledged us Malaysian fans again and promised us that they (FLOW) will return here to perform again! "Yakusoku suru!" and he held up his pinky. I went all "AWWWWHHHH PINKY PROMISE~" and he keep holding his pinky and made us all raise our pinky with him. KANDOU DESU! TTwTT

Also, to not disappoint me, they ended with GO!! Perfect ending, really! We kept going "We are fighting dreamers!", "Oli oli oli oh", "BAM!" and "BURN!", also all the jumpings. I WAS SO HIGH! And then they finished. Oh gosh, that was the most dreadful moment I've ever experienced. Our cheers were endless, they kept saying thank you over and over again. Then IWASAKI threw one of his drumstick, it was to the middle-right crowd orz I WANT YOUR DRUMSTICK IWASAKI JII-CHAN! Sucks sitting at the most right side... XD AND THEN THEY REALLY WENT BACKSTAGE.

We were still cheering, until we started to chant "mou ikkai" and "encore". We actually chanted and stopped a view times hahaha! The camera man in front of me also cheered us on our chants!

AND THEY APPEARED AGAIN. If I remembered correctly, someone changed, or someone had a towel, or something like that. (Man I hate my bad memory!)

KEIGO said we kept saying encore, he was really happy! And then he said, that they are going to perform the last songs already. THE LAST SONGS. OKAY, MAXIMUM APPRECIATING MOMENT.

So they started with Rock Climbers, saying it was their latest single and then ended with Garden (if I remembered correctly lah, based on my setlist). And it was really the end. I can't help but to feel so overwhelmed after that.

The crowd started throwing their lightsticks into the air, and I looked at mine. Nah, keeping it for memories' sake! Then, I was packing my stuffs, looking for the ticket to claim the autographed poster I balloted when a staff said they had 1 bad news and 1 good news. Oh gosh, I felt so worried that the bad news was we aren't able to get the posters...

Staff: "The bad news is, the concert has ended. But the good news is, FLOW will have their autograph session in this hall! Those who has won the ballot .... (blah blah blah)"

HOI, WHERE, and I raced to get into the line. Apparently they will also sign on the Anime Best CD! Chyeaaa, I already bought it first thing, so I quickly took it out, all ready in line, and waited. Waited. Waited. IT WAS ANOTHER LONG WAIT. FLOW really get people waiting huh!

And they appeared. asdkjflasj and the line started moving! Oh gosh I was excited!!! I passed by a crew who was selling the FLOW CDs and in the box were loads of the promo cards of the caller ringtone thingy. I asked her if I can have one of 'em (saw FLOW posted it on their Twitter the night before ahaha XD) and she said, "oh, take them! Take as many as you want!" and she gave me 5. ROFL, I said, "haaar, I want one only leh.." XDDD So I continued waiting in line. And then finally they were in view and I started phrasing all my speech I've prepared for a long time, waiting for my chance to tell them that! And then the crew member at the autograph place said want to see my ticket when I've already kept it secluded inside my backpack. OH PLEASE. Because of him, I already slowed down the flow of people, so... At the end I couldn't tell them what I wanted to say and just quickly went pass every member, shaking their hands.

AND WHY WAS TAKE THE FIRST ONE! OMG. Major crush on him and that was another factor why I couldn't speak afterwards till the end. I just shook his hand, said "arigatou TAKE-san!" and looked him in the eyes hahahahah XD Then it was IWASAKI. He gripped my hand so tight, I felt like shaking hands with a very encouraging uncle. I gripped his hand back. "Arigatou IWASAKI-san!" Then it was KOHSHI and dude. His eyes are really small hahahaha XD Shook his hand and said "arigatou KOHSHI-san!" and went to the next.

GOTO-chan aljshdakjs;lajf So I dragged the CD booklet to him, then he bent down to sign at it, I just looked at his head and said "GOTO-chan kakkoii desu!" HAHAHAHA SHIT WHAT. Then he looked up and laughed, "hahaha, arigatou~" alkdjf;alkd;lajag;ldf GOTO-CHAN WHY ARE YOU SO ADORABLEEEEE~ Then I said the usual "arigatou!" and shook his hand. Lastly it was KEIGO, I was so nervous, I just shook his hand, real quick, said "arigatou KEIGO!" and grabbed my poster and ran away. orz

Worst handshake session ever. When they come back, I'm going to go handshake again and speak ENGLISH. They will understand. XD

So it was nearly 12.00am at that time and I still had school the next day. Reached home and took a shower because I seriously can't help it. It was already around 1am, so I checked Twitter (FLOW, TAKE and GOT'S), blog posts etc. Wanted to wake up for school the next day but guess what?? I didn't! My head hurt so much and my muscles all ached, my ears were still ringing. BUT THE CONCERT WAS A BLAST. It was the most enjoyable moment ever.

FLOWさん、またマレーシアに来てください!

Yes, TAKE with the LED specs, making legend, haha!

My precious!
(L-R) Autographed poster, Anisong advertisement board, promo card, concert ticket, autographed CD, sticker.
I'm grateful for AFA to bring their event to Malaysia this year, also to all the organizers and sponsors etc., those who worked for the event to be successful. Practically I'm grateful because I got to meet FLOW. THANK YOU! Please come to Malaysia again, AFA! Looking forward to surprising announcements next year. :)

AFA:MY Day 2 [Festival Part]

Anime Festival Asia: Malaysia 2012, Day 2 report (2 part) Part 1 of 2
(I'm late, sorry ^^" I actually already done with my draft 2 weeks ago, but Blogger decided to screw it up for the concert part, so I had to reorganize one week of thoughts and memories and it took 2 weeks hahaha, but here it is! My share of AFAMY~)

I arrived at PWTC at around 10.30am, knowing well I'd be missing KANAME☆ and felt a bit guilty for promising Ah Sam to take pictures of him. Then, claimed my wristband and glowstick.

Had to walk along a long overhead bridge to reach to the other side of the hall where the event took place.

OMAIGADE FLOW!
There were these boards hanging above us about the artistes and activities (eg. Moe Moe Kyun Maid Cafe and Atelier Royale Butler Cafe). Weirdly enough, there were no more Kalafina boards (I think there are 2 each). Later learnt from Hui Huan that fans already took them down during the night before after the concert.

I headed inside the hall and searched frantically for the FLOW album they posted at their twitter the night before. Of course, I found it! Bought it and was very contented already.

After that, we walked around for a short while and ended up queuing at the line in front of the butler cafe, Atelier Royale. Waiting for about an hour, we were a table of customers away when the lady boss started saying something to the girls in front of us and they started squealing. Seems that they want to film something of KANAME☆ and we are supposed to be the background screaming fangirls. OK, cool, no problem actually hahaha. So KANAME☆ appeared and ahhhh, before the lady boss could give us a signal to start squealing, everyone screamed.

Well, not me, of course, I was saving it for FLOW. So she had to quiet us down and said squeal only when the signal is shown. Cool, enough, everyone quieten down. So they started filming and the signal came up.

"KYAAAA!" the few girls beside me screamed. Oh, where were all the others who were so hyper in the beginning? So we had to film another time. This time I contributed a bit of my voice or it'll never end, haha. So cool enough, we are done, KANAME☆ stood on top of a chair to wave and gave us fanservice. I held out my hand as well, and he high-fived it, twice! He then went in the butler cafe, for what, I do not know. We also had the chance of going in while KANAME☆ was still there. Ordered kare- rice! Actually it's not bad, but too salty and RM25 for one plate of that rice, not even fulfilling! Well, it's alright. It's all about the experience.

It was good :9

Our butler was Shin.
Our awkward butler heh.
It was okay, I mean, yes, he does look good in a cute way heh. But he was super gentle and addition to all the epic dubbing going on at the Animax Asia booth, I could barely hear him!
Atelier Royale Butler Cafe review
+ Gentlemen, of course! Shin pulled my chair for me to sit when I went in. Endlessly whispered to myself all the way to my table, "pull my chair, pull my chair!' Fangirled a bit on the inside.
+ SHIN IS SO GENTLE. He's super gentle lah, what can I say? He talks so soft. He stirred my friends' sugared + creamed coffee so gently. If it were me, I'll just simply mix and done. Made me feel super manly compared to him. (not sure if this is a plus point or minus point XD)
+ Nice service! The other butlers, although weren't the one assigned to us, would come to our table and talk to us (Haru and Ren :3). However, I was super shy and Xyana was the one who ended up doing all the talking and giving comments, while I just munched down on my kare- rice.
+ I didn't order the cakes (was hungry and cakes weren't too worth it, RM20 for a slice that I can buy outside for RM5) but I saw pictures that the butler will use chocolate sauce to draw whatever you request them to draw! CUTE. :)
- Shin didn't smile. Maybe it was his first time and he was nervous. He placed Xyana's fork and spoon upside down :(
- No variety of butlers. The butlers in Atelier Royale were only on the gentlemen, leng zai approach. I'd prefer if they had something like Ouran High School Host Club; the quiet cool, the exaggerating airhead, the hyper cute, the troublemaker... etc. I do not know how butler cafes are generally (never been to one before). But of course, my first wasn't bad!
- THE KARE- RICE WAS TOO SALTY. By the way, heard from my friend it was pre-cooked as PWTC didn't let them cook food inside the hall. No wonder there were no Omurice and Pasta on that day. Sad max! Haha, and I forgot which butler was it that Xyana complained to about the salty kare- rice, he told us, "Yesterday, the customers complained it was too salty, so we changed the recipe for today. The customers in the morning said it was okay, and now, it's salty again. *silence while thinking*" Hahaha, okay, what kind of approach is that?
All in all, I give a rating of 4/5 (satisfying good!) for my first and fresh experience of butler cafe! :) Also for the leng zais. Kenta and Hiroshi look good. ;p And sadly enough, both of them didn't come to my table.

Went to the toilet and after that entered the main stage hall to see FLOW's appearance because I can take photographs during this session! When I went in, the previous session of Production I.G Talkshow with Mitsuhisa Ishikawa was still going on. So I sat down (on the ground, behinds the plastic chairs) and join in the fun and watched a bit of it. They looked cool, those upcoming animes, especially BLOOD C. Not long later (at around 1.30pm) the session ended. Most of us charged forward, with our cameras ready, waiting for the Anisong artists to appear. The hosts came back out and we were anxious!

They announced that it's time for the stage appearance. FANGIRL MAX. First up, it was Sea☆A and then KOTOKO. Of course, FLOW did appear next. Ahhhh, spammed my poor little camera with those 5 awesome dudes! Set it to burst infinity and I just held down on my shutter full time. Goto-chan had the weirdest facial expressions. Each artist introduced themselves and talked a little about their experience in Malaysia. When it came to FLOW's turn, I recorded a tad bit late but it was still clear and good! Their appearance wasn't long, at about 10-20 minutes and they went backstage.

GOTO-CHAN WERE YOU LOOKING AT ME? *fangirl hearts*

I stayed in the event hall as I was also interested in the cosplay competition.

They are siblings yaw.
Very interesting performance!
Heh.
There were 3 group cosplayers and the first was the Kuroshitusji duo! Very interesting sketch and theirs were actually the easiest to portray, in my opinion, since the characters had distinctive personality, it'll not be mistaken as bad acting if the person's original personality had some similarity. However, they did it really well, into character even after their sketch and when the judges talked to them. Brava :D The runner-up was the Rozen Maiden duo (I can't comment on this because I didn't watch the anime) and the third was Naruto duo.

After that, they had the solo cosplayer competition and the cosplayers were chosen specially among the crowd by KANAME☆ and SP Cats.
Handsome and pretty people. Heh.
KANAME☆, SP Cats Tasha, SP Cats Miyuko, Ayase
This would be the first time that day I saw the SP Cats. Man, Miyuko is like super pretty! Her face is so cute and doll-like. Anyway, the costumes done by the 6 solo cosplayers were good, especially that weird robot-like thing (sorry, I don't know where he's from) which required the staff to help carry his staff. Haha (bad joke). Also, fangirled a bit on Danny Choo's english. I like the British accent so much, I ended up paying more attention to what he was saying that what he was saying that related to the event going on. "Lovely, lovely, lovely." my favourite phrase.

After the competition ended, the main stage hall was closed for preparation of the concert later. Came back into festival hall. So I walked around some more, went back to the AFA Shop I went earlier to ask for FLOW's Black & White Tour T-shirt (which was a freaking RM129 and I won't wear it so neehh) and bought a wristband instead (costs RM41). That was quite worth it I'd say, since I'm able to wear it out and about as a hand accessory! Then, I saw a group of girls that wore coloured leggings and thought, "those seemed familiar!" and realised that Sea☆A was walking past me to have a handshake event! Then, I started waving like mad at them, and one of them waved back! I think it was Wynnie.

Then Xyana and her brother wanted to leave already. Accompanied them to the bridge and took off one of those hanging boards. Yes, I took off the FLOW one. Only one of it and I'm sure some people saw the tall me pulling it down. Heh. Wonder who took the other one!

So I asked Xyana to help me take the board home first as I won't be able to hold onto it during the whole event or I'll get stares. I then hungout at The Mall (opposite PWTC) to kill time while I was alone. Ate McDonalds as an early dinner and late lunch. I think I spend around 1 hour plus at McD. Thank goodness no one chased me away! Could hear my stomach go "slosh slosh" with all the food and drink, so I decided to walk around and went to search for Pocky, but there wasn't any in Cold Storage. WHAT A DISGRACE! Oh well.

Returned to the hall to find a really long trail of people lining up for the free standing concert. Immediately I took my VIP ticket and got into the short line. Actually I didn't need to but I was lazy to walk more, so I just sat down and waited. And finally we went in, at about 7pm. The free seating people were running past me while I was really taking my own sweet time walking. Hah, that's is nice being a VIP!

And hence, this is the end of the festival part.
AFA:MY 2012 review:
To rate this event (until before the concert), it is 3/5, just average.
They didn't have many volunteers/helpers walking around to control traffic flow or for me the lost one to ask directions. I only see them either at the entrance or the exit to the stage hall, or maybe I wasn't paying attention haha. Besides, there weren't many booths from fans but more on the sponsor booths, which was quite a let-down. I realised AFA is more focused on money-making (read: expensive service charge in the cafes). However, of course it was a new experience for me as this event had many more things going on so that fans that aren't too hardcore on anime had something else to see. *I don't get myself, but whatever*

Mad Scientists

S'been a while since I wrote on this blog. I had random language block in which I don't feel in the mood to think of words. Yep, my mind totally stops having that voice in the head.

A lot has happened. Let's see; I'm an upper six student now and it's the real deal, STPM results for Seafield wasn't satisfying for Pn. Chong, the worst prefect installation (offence intended, sorry), piles and piles of homework.

Arashi colours!
It was the Science and Maths Week Exhibition in SMK Seafield! My group did "Silver Crystals". It's basically just the displacement of metals, in this case, copper displaces silver in the silver nitrate solution.

It is amazingly shiny,
This is an example. Expensive stuffs yo, silver. Told the lab assistant I wanted 4 giant bottles of silver nitrate, she rejected at first. Went back home and thought, why not, psychologically, ya know, people like to hear things that comfort them. In the end, I went back to them, "Kak, I want 2 litres, but we will use as little as possible lah." Got it. Even for the gloves, I asked for a whole box but promised to return any extra.

Our set up. We had students from Form 2 to Form 6 (we skipped duty for Form 1 today, lazy). The higher forms were easier to explain and they don't ask impossible questions. "Why got silver?" "Why it happens?" "Why can like that one?" "Why?" I understand the curiosity of kids. Some gave us the whoa expression, which I find it really satisfying. A group of kids were supportive enough to keep "sandpaper-ing" the copper wires to get their perfectly silver-coated shapes.

Grenade
Sarah Hannah! :)
I made a few new friends in this exhibition. The group sharing the lab table with mine did Tic-Tac-Toe and was guarded by the famous swimmer in the school, Chan Jie (in which I like to call him San-Jay, heh) and Yang (who keeps scolding me, wth). Then there were these 2 form 1 guys who were "bad in maths" and were amazed by the colour changing cabbage thingy. Also, this group of form 3s (picture above!), they are a bunch of nuisance!!! And of course, Sarah Hannah who says I'm very nice. :) And of course a few other kids... Kids, yeah, what to do, Upper Sixes are the eldest among the students.

And there were many other interesting experiments! Hot Ice by Aik Hean's group, Colour Changing Message by Yen Chee's group, DNA extraction by Sylvia and Rachel's group, Purple Cabbage by Stephanie's group, Dancing Gummy Bears (which is just glowing and burning gummy bears), Corn Starch, Burning Money (then they started burning hand with cloth heh), beating egg white, bicycle generated blender, Foamy Fountain, Smoke Grenade (=__=), Lava Lamp etc.!

If you are interested, I took a couple of photos for myself (the memories yaaaaw) and you can see it! Just click on this link, and you can enjoy the awesomeness of science and maths (uhhhh, yeah).

shhh :)

everything in the world became instant
rushing, hurrying
everyone is chasing time
time is chasing everything

counting the hours of sleep you can get
before laying to a regeneration
planning on how long to eat
or mashing up all in one go

fast food, fast as it is
munch munch on the way
this reminds me, i have to write an essay about these
oh well, shrugging my shoulders

suddenly everyone became so good at multitasking
everyone seems to be in control of time
but that's when stress comes in
when everything gets out of our grasp

do you stop to look at things around you?
do you realise people moving at the same pace like you?
do you reflect on what you've done for the day?
do you simply just go along to the unexciting rhythm of life?

nah, i'm not trying to tell you
"find excitement in life!"
no one can party everyday
especially me, i hate going out

but what if you slow down
start listening to the sounds around you
damn, you might realise it's noisy
shhhhh! quiet down please

:) the quiet place

i admit i have been inventing
creating unnecessary stress for myself
something like valentine's
when i didn't get a present from him :(

sometimes thinking too much is depressing
because normal beings see the bad sides of things
i often have to look back at my sweet past
to numb my current state of distress

okay, back to maths and story-writing
thank you blog, my place of letting out
i hope you, reader
find this post the least depressing

hehehe, but helpful in one way or another!

Just take it already!

Often, when planning for an outing, most of them wouldn't come to a final agreement. They either keep discussing, and discussing, and discussing, until more and more choices appear. In the end, nothing comes to an end and most of us foresee failure.

Not that I am complaining, but I ended up making a decision. Always me.
Then I got fed up with it, I decided to sabotage one meet-up, told them I wasn't free/feeling well, and tell them to decide it on their own. In the end, they just cancelled it.
"Sarah, so how's the plan?" "Sarah, so is ___ going?" "Sarah, who's gonna fetch me?" Sarah this, Sarah that. No, this is not leadership when everyone is too dependent.

I started making decisions for others. People are so gullible these days. They can't make a decision properly, and believe everything people tell them (especially Facebook rumours!). They ended up giving you the authority to make decisions for them. Sure, if they succeed, all you get is the gratitude and not their profit; if they fail, all you get is the blame and embarrassment for the rest of your life.

I don't intend of making people's life miserable, but most of the time, without making a firm stand, life cannot go on! At least mine doesn't, if the decision they are supposed to make involves me.
I have made several wrong decisions for myself this year, but I am hoping and trying hard to work everything out. *clenches fist* This is what you get when you are older, less dependent.

Christmas is near! So excited. :B

I won't judge.

GQ; no it's not about the magazine.

And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. -- Luke 17:19 (KJV)

Pastor Nirhal was the speaker in today's session. This message hit me real hard: how thankful is society today?

I always pray for the guidance of God before an examination starts. I always pray for satisfying (and safe) results before I receive 'em. However, I rarely thank Him when I get my results.

Most of the time, it isn't satisfying; I know, but we know that God works in different ways. We can't always only rely on God to give us what we want! Results that isn't that good will motivate you to study harder, doesn't it? God is great.

"Which is harder -- saying sorry or saying thank you?"
Get you thinking.

Today's scripture was from the book of Luke. Luke 17:11-19, Ten Healed of Leprosy.
10 were healed of leprosy, but why only one returned to thank the Lord? Society is weird these days. We make wrong assumptions for things that happen(ed), this is not rationality!

"We know about IQ, and the recent hot topic of EQ, but we must have GQ!" pastor Nirhal said. GQ, you ask? Its "gratitude quotient". How much do you have it?

Thus, "where are the nine?"

Also, thanking God for the safe results of my papers so far. Biology is my fear now.

think out of the box, will you please?

I am meant to be a lone ranger, trashing my feet against the fallen dry leaves, in search of something that will never be mine. Even if the search turns out successfully, I will never own it personally, nor will it stay by my side forever.

The bird would want its freedom, the insect would want its freedom, not forgetting the plant would want its freedom. Everything has its own wants and needs, and its not you to determine it mindlessly.

People need friends, why yes, I will not disagree with that. But what if one does not have friends? What if a person like me were to survive on this planet earth? Would I be eliminated from society, the weakling of an intraspecific competition?

===

Need to start using big words already, but my vocabulary is... meh, not expanding in the way I want it to! I shall improve my way of studying.

Let's just say I am the most boring person you've ever met. I never think of alternatives; I follow by instructions and manuals blindly. You might say that I am just a law-abiding citizen in other words, but really, I am just so lazy.

I... complain a lot but I don't take practical methods to counter my badness. Just like what I am doing now! The irony.

I am the most cold-blooded person you'll meet.
Sadly, I don't write inspirational stuffs.

===

OH YES! I survived a week of exams, but the real deal's not here yet. Wait for it gaiz.
